Reward and recognition schemes
Following feedback from staff we are going to introduce a small number of reward
and recognition schemes.
1. Quality Hero
We would like to recognise the significant number of staff who everyday do
something extra special to improve the quality of service to our patients, their carers,
internal or external customers or work colleagues.
Who is eligible?
The award will be open to any member of staff in the Trust who has been nominated
by a working colleague, service user or member of staff in a partner organisation.
What are the award criteria?
Quality Hero awards will be given for a single action or actions judged by the
Executive Team that goes beyond what the organisation could reasonably expect
from one of its members of staff.
What are the rewards?
A £30 gift voucher, enamel Quality Hero Lapel badge and certificate.
What is the nomination process?
If you wish to nominate a quality hero, you should complete the ‘Quality Hero’ form.
Nominations are open continuously. There will be four sets of award announcements
each year on a quarterly basis. Nominations should be sent to
