Transformation
Drawing a Background and
selecting layers



Make sure you open a new layer each time
you want to make a change (Photoshop 1).
Start with the background
For a background of clouds, choose your
color and go to Filter -> Render -> Clouds
Filter Gallery and Blending


Once the clouds have been
done, using the lasso tools
,
certain selections can be
made.
Once the ground is selected
and painted using a desired
color, the filter gallery can be
used to blend the grass with
the clouds, under Filter ->
Filter Gallery
Transformation

Once the image has been
copied and pasted on to
the new image on a new
layer, certain
transformations can be
made to that new layer.
Under Edit -> Transform
-> Perspective
Adding an Image



Once the background is done, the next step is adding the
image.
Find the image you want and open it in Photoshop.
Once it’s opened, using the Magic Wand Tool
and the Inverse selection under Selection, only the part
you want of the image can be selected, copied and
pasted into your new image.

Pattern Stamp Tool




In order to create an image on top of an existing
background, the following must be done:
First the background must be saved and opened up
in Photoshop.
By going to Edit -> Define Pattern, while selecting
the Pattern Stamp Tool,
the background pattern
can be now selected as a painting tool.
Once that has been done, the desired image must be
cut and pasted onto the background on a NEW
LAYER.
Creating an Image on a
patterned background


Select the layer, on to
which the image is
pasted.
Make sure only the image
is selected and not the
background, that can be
done by using inverse
selection again.


On the right hand – bottom
corner of Photoshop, different
layers can be selected and
edited.
Under Layers, the blending
mode can be changed to

the image to blend in the
background.
