Writing
 We will work on writing projects a few days per week in
class. Your student will bring home a 2nd grade writing
portfolio at the end of the year. We use the Step up to
Writing program.
 Journal writing helps to build writing fluency. We will
journal write at least two mornings per week and there
will occasionally be journal writing in the homework
packet.
 Your child will learn how to write an informative piece,
an opinion piece, and a personal narrative.

Everyone is welcome to attend!
