3rd Quarter Choices
You must choose ONE product to complete for EACH reading
selection: (2 total). You MUST choose at least one product from the featured 4,
then you may choose another product of learning of your choice. You are NOT
allowed to repeat products of learning throughout the year.
1) Puppet Show
-
Create a puppet production for one scene from your reading. You must
write a script and then act out this production using props, puppets, and
speaking your lines.
2) Comic Book
-
You will recreate your reading into a comic book. Your comic book must
be between 3-4 pages. Each page should include dialog, setting,
characters, panels, and be colored. Your comic book should represent the
beginning to the end of your reading.
3) Poetry Scavenger Hunt
-
After your reading, you must find three poems that have the same plot
and/or theme as your reading. For each poem, you must write the title and
author. You will then explain how each poem relates to your reading.
4) Movie Recommendations
-
From all the movies you have seen in the past couple of years, pick five
that a specific character from your reading would want to see. Give a brief
summary of each movie and explain why you think the character should
see it.
Below are other products you may choose from. You and your Jaguar Academy
teacher must first discuss this product and establish the requirements for that product.
You must be self-motivated in creating the guidelines for this product. Each product is
worth 20 points.
