1. F allsview Casino Resort Falls for Cash Slot Tournament (the “Tournament”) is sponsored by Fallsview Casino Resort (“Sponsors”). The Tournament will take place on May 10, 2017, September 6, 2017 and February 26, 2018 (the “Tournament Date”) between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Registration for the tournament will take place between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on each respective tournament day. 2. You must be an individual who is nineteen (19) years of age or older at the time of entry in order to be eligible to enter the Tournament. Players must present valid, Government issued photo identification on request. An eligible person who has entered the Tournament is referred to herein as a “Player”. 3. The individuals listed below (“Excluded Individuals”) are NOT eligible to enter the Tournament. If an Excluded Individual enters the Tournament (whether through fraud, error, or for any other reason) and is subsequently declared a winner, the Excluded Individual will have their name removed from the winners’ list and will not be awarded or have the right to be awarded any prize. If the Sponsor becomes aware that a prize has been awarded to an Excluded Individual, the Sponsor has the right to demand that the prize be returned in full and in kind to the Sponsor immediately upon serving the demand on the Excluded Individual. The Sponsor reserves the right to commence legal action against an Excluded Individual for the return of any prize awarded to that person. (i)any individual participating in a voluntary self-exclusion program that applies Fallsview Casino Resort (the “Resort”); (ii)any individual who has been restricted from access to the Resort or from playing casino games as a condition of a court order; (iii)any individual who has been restricted from access to the Resort or from playing casino games by the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (the “AGCO”); (iv)any individual who is an employee, an officer, a member of the board of directors, an Executive Director, an executive, a representative, an agent, or a partner of any one of the following: the Sponsor, the Falls Management Company or Falls Management Group L.P., any promotional or advertising agencies involved in this Tournament, and any persons domiciled with any of the foregoing individuals; (v)any individual who is an executive or staff member of any trade union that represents or negotiates on behalf of employees employed at the Resort; (vi)any individual who is an employee of a supplier that is registered under Ontario’s Gaming Control Act who repairs or maintains gaming equipment at the Resort; (vii) any individual who is a member or employee of the AGCO; or (viii)any individual who is an officer, member of the board of directors, or employee of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (“OLG”) who is registered as a CAT1 gaming assistant. 4. Entry fee is two hundred and fifty ($250) dollars in Canadian Currency must be paid by either cash or credit card, gaming chips are not accepted. 5. Players may cancel their enrollment in the tournament up to seven (7) days before the tournament. Failure to provide seven (7) days prior notice will result in forfeiture of the entry fee. 6. Complimentary offers may be extended to players at the discretion of the Sponsors. 7. The Sponsor reserves the right to deny an individual entry into the Tournament or reject an individual, once registered, for any reason which, in its sole judgment and discretion, it deems proper, or as authorized by law. 8. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel or alter the Tournament for any reason on or before the Tournament Date. If cancelled, the Sponsor will use commercially reasonable efforts to notify all Players and entry fees will be returned but shall have no other or further liability to the Players. 9. Participation is limited to one (1) registration per Player. No individual can enter the Tournament more than once. 10. All pre-registered Players should report to the Tournament area no later than fifteen (15) minutes before their scheduled session time. 11. Players Advantage Club cards will not earn any points during Tournament play. 12. Players playing in the sessions must be registered and have qualified for play. 13. The Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, allow a Player to give their place to a substitute Player. Substitute Players must be Players Advantage Club members in good standing in order to play in the Tournament. Any Player wishing to substitute a guest into the Tournament must fill out a Substitution Form in full and submit it to the Tournament Official a minimum ten (10) minutes before their session time begins. 14. Substitute Players are not eligible to win Tournament prizes. All prizes will be awarded to the registered and qualified Player. 15. The official Tournament time will be displayed within the Tournament area. 16. Sessions cannot be delayed due to late arrival. Players who miss a session or arrive late may forfeit their session and will not receive a score for that session. 17. When a Player registers for the Tournament, they will have one or more slot machines randomly assigned to them by a computer. 18. The Tournament runs for one (1) day. The Tournament will have two (2) rounds, each round with four (4) sessions. Each session will be fifteen (15) minutes in duration with four hundred twenty (420) credits on the credit meter. If a patron does not cycle through their four hundred twenty (420) credits during their assigned session, the incomplete score will not be entered into the Tournament and they will be disqualified for that session. 19. A Player may only begin to play his/her machine upon the direction of the Tournament Emcee. Any false or late start apart from the Tournament Emcee’s, may result in the Player forfeiting his/her session and receiving zero (0) points for that session. 20. If a slot machine malfunctions, a Fallsview Casino Resort Slot Technician will attempt to correct the problem so that the Player can continue to play on the assigned machine. If a machine cannot be repaired in a reasonable time, the Player will be moved to an alternate machine. If the Player is not able to complete his/her session on the alternate machine, the Player may be assigned to a subsequent session. 21. The score recorded on the score sheet is based on the score that is registered on the slot machine’s win meter. 22. Each Player must sign a score sheet after each session played. By signing the score sheet, the Player agrees to their session score. A Player’s failure to sign their score sheet will result in the Player relinquishing the score confirmation to the scorekeeper and Tournament Official. 23. The sixty thousand ($60,000) Canadian dollar cash prize purse is based upon complete registration and full occupancy and may be adjusted accordingly. 24. Each Player will play in two (2) Tournament sessions. The score from each of the Tournament sessions will be combined to determine the top fifty (50) Winners based on their cumulated scores. 25. All Tournament prizes will be awarded at the end of the Tournament at Fallsview Casino Resort Grand Hall. Cash prizes will be awarded in Canadian currency. Winners who are not present will have ninety (90) days to claim their cash prize at any Cage at Fallsview Casino Resort, or that prize will be forfeited. Downloadable slot credits do not affect PAC card status or any other rewards based on qualification. 26. In the event of a tie between two (2) or more Players with a same score within the Tournament prize structure, the top cash prize for that score and the subsequent prize(s) (depending on the number of tied scores) will be split equally between the Players involved. The next prize available (not involved in the tying process) will be given to the Player with the next highest score. The actual monetary value of prizes paid per place of finish is directly dependent on the number of Players with the same score, if any. 27. In the event that an individual, including but not limited to an Excluded Individual, has been declared a winner but then subsequently disqualified, all declared winners that ranked below the disqualified individual will move up in the ranking of winners accordingly. 28. Any dispute that may arise during Tournament play will be submitted immediately to the Tournament Official, whose decision will be final. 29. In the event of an emergency, the Tournament Official will have the final decision. 30. The Player agrees to abide by all Tournament rules as published or amended.
