Petr BENES
Petr BENES is a Head of IT department in Ceska sporitelna, Prague, the largest bank
operating on Czech market (Since late 2010). He has 15+ years experienece in
Financial Services – he spent 7 years as a Banking consultant with Accenture and 8
years with GE Money in Central and Eastern Europe and in South East Asia, 2006-10
as CIO for GE Money Bank in Czech & Slovak republics.
During his career, Petr was involved in various Banking Initiatives (Banking model
strategies, Mergers & acquisitions, Distribution channel strategies), however his
main area of expertise is around core banking system implementations. During last
8 years he participated or managed 6 large-scale integration projects implementing
3 various market SW packages and 2 custom-built solutions.
Petr BENES has a Major in Economics (International Trade) from Prague School of
Economics
