Four sophomores from this spring's Rams Baseball Team are headed to four-year universities next fall.
Catcher Tramane Moore, infielder Danny Donoghue, pitcher Zac Carillo, and pitcher Ben Carrasco are
headed to Dakota Wesleyan University, Rogers State University, University of Minnesota Crookston, and
Missouri Baptist University, respectively.
Moore, who received All-Conference First-Team Honors and the Gold Glove last month, led the team with 12
RBIs and 11 runs. He also threw out 33 of 57 base stealers and posted a fielding percentage of .978.
Donoghue was near the top of the team leaderboard in most offensive categories. He was third in runs
scored (9) and hits (26), second in RBIs (10), and paced the team with 11 base-on-balls.
Carillo, a First-Team All-Conference member, led the team in innings pitched with 68.2 IP, shared the team
lead in wins with three, and was second on the team with 38 strikeouts.
Pitcher Ben Carrasco, who redshirted this spring, showed promise on the field and in the classroom, which
eventually led to Missouri Baptist University to accept him in the fall.
