NOTICE INVITING TENDER
Vijaya Bank invites sealed tenders for electric audit for branches/ offices in
the state of Uttar Pradesh, from the authorized electrical consultant/electrical
firm/empanelled electric engineers who full fill the following requirements1) Must have an established office at least in following places-
a) Lucknow
2) The firm must have at least 05(five) years experiences in the same field.
3) The minimum educational qualification of an electric auditor/consultant
should be a diploma holder in electrical engineering (DEE)Or retired electrical
engineer from Govt., sector or PSU sector or private organization. Bachelor
degree of electrical engineering and higher qualification will be an added
advantage.
4) Must have valid sales Tax number
5) PF registration (If applicable)
6) ESI registration (If applicable)
7) Must have field income tax return at last 03(Three) years
8) The firm must have a minimum turnover of Rs 05 lacks per year for
last three (03) years.
9) The consultant/firm should be certified with license from appropriate
authorities like state electric board.
10) The firm must be having at least two (02) running contract with a
PSU/any other organization in electrical installation/electric audit or similar
electric work done preferably the Bank’s (in the state where RO is located).
N.B. –a) The relative documentary proof in respect of above conditions/
requirements should be enclosed with tender without which the tender will
be summarily rejected.
The Vendors fulfilling the above conditions may apply in TWO BID SYSTEM i.e.
Technical Bid and Financial Bid. Interested vendor may either collect the Tender
Forms from the above address against the payments of ` 500/- to be remitted or
download from the bank’s website and deposit the amount along with tender
documents by way of pay order.
INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS :
1. Bids are invited from the electrical consultants/BEE certified auditors.
2. The proposed consultancy works are at our 58 Branches and 06 offices.
3. The rate quoted should be inclusive of all incidental expenses at a uniform
rate per branch / Office.
4. The total time fixed for completion of all Branches is 45 days including
holidays from the day the contract is awarded.
5. The work should be completed strictly within the stipulated period from the
day the contract is awarded.
6. All bidders are requested to study the details carefully and get all doubts
clarified prior to submitting the tender.
7. Completed and sealed quotes should reach Vijaya Bank, Regional Office, Ist
Floor, No.333, Lekhraj Market, Indiranagar, Lucknow not later than 3.00
p.m. on 24.08.2015. Tenders will be opened on 24.08.2015 at 3.30 pm.
8. No extension of time will be given unless the Regional Office is convinced
that the delay is due to circumstances totally beyond the control.
9. For clarification regarding bill of quantities and specifications, or any of the
items related to this tender, please contact the Senior Manager, Security

10.The work has to be carried out as per site conditions.
11.A report is required to be submitted for each Branch to our Regional Office
covering the above aspects.
12.Any item of the work in part or full may be deleted from the tender during
execution as per bank's requirements and the decision of the Bank will be
final.
The electrical audit process should cover the following:a) Adequacy of safety devices such as MCBs, ELCBs in the lighting, power and
UPS circuits and in panel boards.
b) The sanctioned power Vis-à-vis connected load.
c) The rating of the MCBs/ELCBs used to ensure compatibility.
d) The rating of the wires used.
e) The effectiveness of the earthing provided separately for UPS and lighting.
f) Concealing of electrical wires through conduits/casing and capping.
g) Ascertain the location of hub/servers in comparison to the UPS/batteries
placement.
h) Availability of separate enclosure with good ventilation for UPS batteries.
i) Whether the electrical safety measures as per the IER/State Electricity
Boards is complied with.
