OnBase Studio V15 Installation Instructions OnBase Studio is a system-wide installation so it should be available to all users who use the computer. Prerequisites Installation 1. Install DotNet 4 Client Extended (file name: dotNetFx40_Full_x86_x64) available at: \\naushares\OnBase\Installation_Files\Prerequisites\DotNet 4 Extended a. You may already have this on your computer. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs and Features. Look for a program called “Microsoft .Net Framework 4 Extended.” If it is there, you can skip this step. ODBC Set Up 2. Navigate to \\naushares\onbase\Installation_Files\OnBase15SP2\registryEdits 3. Copy the .reg file that corresponds to your operating system architecture to your desktop 4. Double click the .reg file that you copied to your desktop, accepting the administrator prompts that appear. Client Installation 5. 6. 7. 8. Navigate to \\naushares\OnBase\Installation_Files\OnBase15SP2 Locate the folder called OnBase Studio. Copy this folder to your computer at the following location: C:\Program Files\. Open the C:\Program Files\Hyland15SP2 \OnBase Studio folder and locate the obstudio application file. a. 9. Right-click the file and click Send to > Desktop (create shortcut). 10. Locate new shortcut on desktop and rename it to OnBase Studio. a. Desktop shortcut would need to be created for each user on the computer. 11. Open OnBase Studio from the new shortcut installed on your desktop. Repository Setup (To access the DEV, TEST and PROD environments you must add them as Repositories in Workflow Studio) NOTE: Occasionally, repositories get inferred from previous OnBase files already on a user’s computer. It is recommended that repositories are deleted and reinstalled per the instructions below. V15 Environments 1. Upon opening OnBase Studio 15, a Connect window pops up. a. If a Connect window does not pop up, click the Connect button in the upper left corner OnBase Studio V15 Installation Instructions 2. In the Connection Type box, type in the name of app server you are wanting to connect to. a. PROD: https://date.nau.froot.nau.edu/appserver/service.asmx b. TEST: https://weepingwattle.nau.froot.nau.edu/appserver/service.asmx c. DEV: https://taxus.nau.froot.nau.edu/appserver/service.asmx (Should look like connection type box below) 3. For Data Source choose the connection of the environment you would like to connect to. a. PROD: OnBaseProd b. TEST: OnBaseTest c. DEV: OnBaseDev (Should look like data source box below) 4.
