Who is this group for?
The group is for families who have a child
0 -17 years old affected by FASD. It is intended
to strengthen families and support parents to
care for their children at home in their own
communities, where children grow and thrive.
This Group Provides

presentations by experts on various
topics
support and ideas about parenting a
child with FASD
hands on activities
opportunities to talk
with other parents and
learn from each other
One on one support

home visits,

family advocacy,

family goal plan,

information and referrals, etc.

Occasionally topics are subject to change due to unavoidable
circumstances.
Families residing outside of Yellowknife, in NWT,
can Teleconference or Skype in if they are interested.
A diagnosis is not required and services are free of
charge. Childcare is available for children up to 10
years of age.
