1 TR70 can be installed on any given sylk bus, and the address must be set to 1. Up to
4 TR71s and/or TR75s can be installed on any given sylk bus in any combination. If a TR70
resides on the bus, then the maximum number of Zios on the bus is 3.

Zio Contractor Mode
• A contractor mode can be accessed.
- Enter and exit the contractor mode by pressing Up, Down, and Middle
-
softkey, then enter the password if password protected
In the contractor mode, you can choose the home screen, select parameter
access to tenant (Yes or No as desired), and view/change parameters.
Parameters may include virtually any point in the controller. Scheduling is
accesible with the TR75 only.

Scheduling at the Zio Wall Module
The Spyder schedule is easily accessible on the Zio Plus TR75
Wall Module
•You can access either in the tenant mode (if unrestricted) and/or
contractor mode.
•Set each daily time period or event (labeled E1-E4) to occupied,
unoccupied, or standby, each with it’s own start time.
•The Zio Plus gives you access to the Schedule that resides in the
Spyder. Access to the network schedule from the Zio is not currently
supported.

(vs. TR70) and over four times as much on the Zio Plus (TR75); and newly
available network access to the Zio fan and system settings and setpoint
limits– no need to go to wire sheets in WEBs-AX.

Important Information
In preparation for this launch, please be aware of the following:
Spyder firmware (with the exception of Micro BACnet devices) must change to accommodate the new Zio and Zio Plus
functionality.
Spyder part numbers will not change. Spyder versions can be identified by a series advance number "2" on the device and a
date code change on the device, unit pack and overpack box.
A new Spyder Tool will be released in April, which will enable the added functionality of the TR71, TR75 and Spyder Micro
BACnet.
The new Spyders will not work with any existing Spyder Tool versions. They will only be functional when
programmed with the new Spyder tool.
A Spyder firmware re-flash tool, separate from the core Spyder tool, will be released early April that can be used to flash
"back" the new Spyders so they can work with older Spyder Tools. The re-flash tool can also be used to flash "forward" an old
Spyder to a new Spyder, so it can work with the new tool and offer the added Zio functionality. The re-flash tool is independent
from the Niagara environment and only requires a PC with LON or BACnet connection to the Spyders. It can be downloaded
on the Buildings Forum.
TR70's will continue to be active until the end of June, 2012. TR71's can replace TR70's in all applications without the need
to touch the Spyder program. However, the added functionality is not available in the TR71 unless the Spyder is programmed
with the new Spyder re-flash tool. TR71's will be priced the same as the TR70's.
