Feder karate Italia is pleased to invite you to take part to W.T.K.F. International Karate Championship, all
style Competition, Individual and for Team, Kata and Kumite tournament, in which you will be welcome.
All Countries and Clubs invited, can have an unlimited number of athletes who take part to competition.

IMPORTANT: No one is allowed to stay behind or near the table officials and around tatami!
No metal clips or head bands or rings or any other jewellery is allowed during kata end kumite.
KATA
(by points, not flags)
1 kata from 1 to 10 Athletes, 2 kata from 11 to 20, 3 kata from 21 and more. From white to green belt,
Athletes can repeat the same kata; bleu, brown and black belts Athletes, must change kata each round.
Individual Kata: from white to green belt, Athletes must compete only with their basic Kata( heian, pinan, ken,
heiwa, etc.); from blu to black belt, Kata is free. Kata Team ( 3 people) and Pair Kata (2 people): Kata is free.

Kumite time and score: 1,5 minute / 3 waza ari from 6 to 11 years old, 2 minutes / 2 ippon from 12 to 14 years
old and from 36 and up, 3 minutes /3 ippon from 15 to 35 years old.
Contact: from 6 to 14 years old, jodan techniques are admitted but without contact. Any jodan contact is
admitted, only chudan a light contact is admitted; from 15 years old and up, jodan skin touch is admitted.
From 6 to14 years old, Athletes must use: personal red (aka) and white (shiro) gloves, personal corsage to put
under the gi jacket, personal white shinfoot protector, genital area protector (male categories), helmet with face
protective grid (Organization has for them), not gumshields. If some Athlete has not his personal corsage, he
can uses Organization corsage to put out of the gi jacket. It’s admitted, Aka uses red gloves and red shinfoot
protector, it’s admitted Shiro uses blue gloves and blue shinfoot protector. From 15 years old and up, Athletes
must use gumshield, gloves, shin foot protector, chestguard (only women). From 6 to 14 years old, 1st jodan
touch = torimasen, 2° jodan touch = keikoku, 3 jodan touch = hansokuchui, 4 jodan touch = hansoku
(hansokumake).
In Official International Events, W.T.K.F. adopts the competition rules used by the National Federation

Each Country can has his International Referees; they are very welcome. Please insert their names, in the same
list, along with the name of the Coach (1 for 10 competitors) and all the names of competitors and their
categories number.

Federal Menmership. Each athlete has to show his federal card or budo-pass valid for the current sports
season, proving his affiliation and his membership to own Federation. Oganizzation might ask for passport or
any identification showing date of birth.
