AGE: For the Veterans Doubles Events, entrants must be at least 45 years of age as at 5
February 2011.
Competitors can enter in three events only.
If the number of entries for an event is large, the event may be divided into divisions. If
insufficient entries are received for an event, then merging of events may take place.
PARTNERS: Every endeavour will be made to find partners for entrants who enter
“partner required”.
MEMBERSHIP: Entrants must be a financial member of an affiliated South West Zone
Tennis Club.
FEES: Entries will only be accepted when fees accompany the entry form. Payment by
cheque to the Bunbury Tennis Club or by electronic funds to the BTC account which is
BSB: 306004 Account Number: 4155100. Please use Name/Club as reference.
ENTRY:Entry is accepted on the official form which may be posted or faxed to 97311185.
MATCHES: Championship events will be the best of three tie-breaker sets. First round
losers in Championship events will be placed in a plate event. All other events will be in
round robin format with each match consisting of a first-to-nine game set.
COURTS: Grass courts will be used wherever possible; however the Tournament
Committee reserve the right to use the plexipave courts should they be required.
WEATHER: The Tournament Committee reserves the right to alter the format due to
inclement weather.
TIMES: Play will commence at 8am each day and finish at last light if required.
EXEMPTIONS will not be granted. However, competitors may apply for special
considerations. The information is to be submitted and the Directors will ascertain if
requests can be accommodated. If requests cannot be accommodated, competitors will be
required to forfeit if unavailable to play at specified times.
DRAW: The starting time for each player on Saturday 5th February will be posted on the
Bunbury Tennis Club Noticeboard on Thursday 3rd February, or will be available from the
Tournament Director Phil Wright between 7pm and 9pm on Thursday 3rd February or
Friday 4th February (Phone 97310603)

16. Prizemoney will be offered in all Championship events as follows:Winners of each event will receive an amount of not less than 40% of the total fees
collected for that event. Runners-up will receive an amount of not less than 20% of the
total fees collected for that event.
17. Trophies and/or prizes will be awarded to the winners and runners-up of all plate and
Round Robin events.
