CASE STUDY Joséphine, Ange Gardien Season 18 / Episode 71 Released on TF1, France DEMD Productions (Lagardère Group) 2 The DEMD preproduction team centralized all preparation information on Setkeeper, ranging from the director’s notes to location scouting, casting, and set approval. Team Setkeeper went backstage to follow the episode 71 shoot, and meet our users at DEMD Productions, industry veterans with decades of television experience. DEMD looks to improve production team collaboration and communication, and had chosen Setkeeper as their principal software-based system for production organization on this shoot. Didier Langlade, Head of Productions, introduced Setkeeper to the teams in charge of sets and casting. For Set Department staff, Didier listed the ten main sets for this episode in production. Picasa Whenever email lacked storage, the Production Manager uploaded the photos to Picasa. « The problem with Picasa was there was no interface. The Director received pictures from the location scout, and then sent them on to the other Team Members. Access and sharing of images and decision information was slow. « It used to be that the Location Scout sent photos, and by the time the DP received them, gave an opinion, and we received the opinion, three days had passed. Now, actually, everybody can see the photos and share their opinions in a single day. » Vianney Level The Location Scout saves time.
