Food Aid and Food Security – How to create
resilient and food secure societies?
The Department of Public Policy, the Center for Policy Studies and the
International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent engaged in a policy
lab exercise to explore, how the economic crisis has impacted food and nutrition
security and what responses are necessary to combat and meet the rising need
in Europe and Central Asia. By presenting the current situation and addressing
its causes as well as mitigating factors, we hope to move towards ideas on how
to create resilient and food secure societies.
