CSV Net
The report, the first of its kind in Italy, is born from the partnership between CSVnet and IBM
Foundation Italy and is the result of the census operated on over 44 thousand volunteer

Healthy food for a longer life from the inner land of the Marche Region
Università di Camerino
Almost a year ago we started the project to present the inner land of Macerata. We passed
though many events and step developing our idea of longevity and wellness made in Marche.
Today we present the results of our initiative in EXPO. In the presence of journalists,
producers, opinion leaders and representatives of the institutions will be presented the

Land grabbing and denied access to natural resources in Africa

The event aims to discuss the challenges affecting the access of poor communities of Africa
to natural resources, with a particular focus on the gender dimension of the problem. It
foresees two panels: the first one aims both at giving an overview of global drivers affecting
the right of rural communities to natural resources in Africa, and at analyzing how gender
inequalities have an impact on women’s possibility to access natural resource in the specific
context of Somaliland. The second panel will focus on the Italian cooperation in Somaliland
by presenting the Italian government priorities and strategies to promote food security and
access to natural resources in the country and on the presentation of ActionAid project.

of the game is to explain how to use the drones also and especially for the civil use, as
example "precision farming". A team of the Politecnico di Milano will be available to provide
information on possible uses of drones. In the game are used land drones - hybrid drones
not only designed to fly, but also to move on the ground thanks to the presence of two or
four wheel drive.

ICCG Best Climate Practices Award 2015
ICCG - International Center for Climate Governance
Participants in this year’s edition came from over 20 countries around the world, and
submitted both existing and new ideas primarily focused on remediating the effects of
climate change in agriculture and food production and addressing the issue of water

Grana Padano presents its factory cheese
Consorzio Grana Padano
A real "cheese factory" to show the Expo visitors the production of one of the most
prestigious products of the Italian tradition. Every day, 2 dairymen will be using 1000 liters
of milk to produce two pieces of Grana Padano, from 12.00 to 16.00. The dairy farm will be
operational throughout the duration of Expo until October 31th. The produced cheese will
be sold at the charity auction to the benefit of the children of the Pediatric Hospital in Haiti.

Guided tour of the vegetable gardens of Cascina Triulza
Regione Umbria
Vegetables and herbs grown in 260mq. This is the "green heart" of Cascina Triulza, produced
in partnership with the Region of Umbria. From 6th June the vegetable gardens can be visited
every weekend under the guidance of the students of the University of Perugia, along with
those of five Agricultural Schools in Umbria. Appointment every Saturday from 10am to
19pm and every Sunday from 10 to 12am. It will be active also a QR code to download an
application that will help visitors to recognize the plants. The gardens will be cultivated for
the duration of Expo, alternating the crops according to the seasons. All information on the
species cultivated in Cascina Triulza are also available on www.hortus-expo2015.org that
contains an insight into the history of the gardens.

Ancient works to be rediscovered, places rich in charm, to know and to know how to make
artisan and juvenile experimentation they are to the center of the appointment of the
association tortonese Artinfiera that participates in the cultural program of Farmhouse
Triulza with the project "Earth.Heart.Art", devoted to the love for the art, the craftsmanship

Our project is an introduction to our mission through an informative run that the visitors can
freely follow or together with our team. Our mission is that to save grapevine human
eliminating above all the sore of the hunger through the prevention, the individualization
and the care of the malnutrition during and after situations of emergencies provoked by
conflicts, wars and natural disasters. From the crisis to the sustainable development: our
appointment is to eliminate the causes of the malnutrition and their devastating effects.

Feed the change. Change the way to feed
LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta Contro i Tumori) - Milano
“Feed the change. Change the way to feed” is a project that promotes healthy eating and
good habits amongst immigrants in Milan and District area. The objective is the spread the
concept of prevention amongst women - main care givers within the family - because healthy
habits mean a healthy life. Thanks to the support of Nutritionists, Cooks and “Cultural
Mediators”, the project involved a number of cooking workshops and seminars. Through the
peer to peer education concept LILT found women ambassadors belonging to each
community and involved more than 400 families and about 2000 people

ONDA - Osservatorio Nazionale sulla Salute della Donna
The importance and the close link between food and good health are highlighted by the

FISH FORWARD sustainable seafood - for nature and people stand

During the whole week, WWF will host visitors on a very unique stand, where they will

become an integral part of his paintings. Symbolism, reality and fantasy are mixed, creating
