General description
eyeC is a lightweight, unisex eyeshield frame available with either a transparent brown
or grey coloured frame. The flexi-twist™ arms ensure a secure fit and rubber ear grips
offer extra comfort. There is additional light protection across the tops of your eyes and
the wide arms give protection from the sides. These UV shields are tinted spectacles
and are worn like a normal pair of glasses.
Important
These UV shield filter lenses are not polarised or photochromic, which means they do
not change tint intensity with changing light levels. These UV shield filter lenses block
a range of UVA, B, C and blue light. Blue light causes glare, reduces contrast and can
damage the retina.
The percentage listed with each product represents the amount of visible light
transmitted through each lens, for example, 13% lens allows 13% of visible light
through and blocks 87% of visible light.

Before use
Before wearing your eyeC eyeshields, you will need to remove the two information
stickers which are on the front of each of the two lenses.
When to wear UV shields
Wear UV shields when you feel the light is causing discomfort. This may occur inside a
building or when you are outdoors.
Please seek professional advice from an eye care specialist before wearing your
UV Shields at night or in dim lights. It is strongly recommended that, until you
are comfortable and feel happy wearing the UV shields, you should avoid
wearing them when either crossing roads or going down stairs.
Storing your UV shields
These UV shields come with a cloth pouch to store them in when they are not being
worn.
Important
 The lenses will become scratched if they are not cared for properly. When you
are not wearing your UV shields put them inside the carrying pouch and hard
case.
 Store them in a shaded place and keep them well away from extremes of heat.
 The shields should not be placed on surfaces with the lenses down, as this might
damage them.
To clean your UV shields
Use mild soap and warm water to clean your UV shields. Shake off the excess water
and then blot them dry with a soft, dry, clean cloth. Do not wipe them dry and do not
use tissues because these may scratch the shields.
