Paris Summer School – two universities – 10 courses Dear partner, Thanks to the great success of UPEC Summer School’s 2015 edition, we are delighted to announce the launch of Summer School 2016. This year, two universities, UPEC and UPEM, organize one joint Summer School on two campuses. Our Summer School offers 2 or 3 weeks of intensive academic and professional courses taught by skilled professors and the best specialists in their fields. This year, 10 courses in the most renowned scientific areas of our universities are available. All the courses are taught in English and a 9-hour creative initiation of French language is proposed for all the students. - - - - Science and Technology o Computational Mechanics : finite element and application in civil engineering and mechanical engineering o Learning programming thanks to video game o Molecular Physics: theory and instrumentation Tourism, Economics and management o European and French Business Economic Environment o International accounting finance o New Frontiers in Destination Management Arts, Social and Human Sciences o IMPACT : International media, Political Action & Communication technologies o International Migrations o Film making class French langage for foreigners This program is a unique opportunity for students from around the world to improve their academic, scientific and professional knowledge and live an immersion experience in Paris, the city ranked best student city for the fourth consecutive year by QS ranking. The workload of the courses is approximatively 50 hours (30 hours of courses and approximatively 20 hours of personal work) and they can be recognized by up to 3 ECTS credits at the home university. The registration is now open and students can benefit from an Early Bird discount until 30th March. The Summer School fees include courses, accommodation option, meals, local transport in Paris area, cultural tours and sport, among other services (welcome at the airport, a French student buddy, wifi, library access, etc.).
