It was one of the first independent power plants built in the deregulated Irish Electricity market. The plant, a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT), was commissioned in 2002 and generates 410MW with gas as its main fuel. The plant is equipped with environmentally friendly and efficient power generation technology, producing electricity in a safe, cost effective and environmentallyfriendly/socially responsible way. Vacancy No. EXT/2015/TP6 – ESB Dublin Bay Power Station, Dublin 4 Job Description ESB Dublin Bay Power is undergoing a process of business integration with ESB Generation Operations. Having recently completed an IT Integration project, there will be some work required to review our business procedures to ensure that they are consistent with ESB procedures. An administrative role is required to ensure that documents and procedures are consistent with ESB Corporate Standards and where required, some reformatting of procedures and verification of SharePoint links will be required. Qualifications Required An Electrical/Mechanical Engineering qualification would be an advantage. Business Qualification with a good appreciation of business writing skills. Skills Required Good communication skills with the ability to ‘get on’ with people. Good knowledge IT skills with a knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) and ideally SharePoint (training will be provided). The candidate should be comfortable working with complex business documents. The successful applicant will be required to work as part of a team. Good organisational skills. Attention to detail.
