Thank you so much for everything

I always thought Sarah was happy
at her old nursery, but it wasn’t until
she came to you that I realised how
happy she could be!

Sarah has already brought more
things home and been on more

during her entire three years!

“I just wanted to say thank you
very much for all the Mother’s Day
presents that Sarah came home
with yesterday. It was obvious all
the effort and thought that the
team had put into creating such
lovely things which we are now
going to keep for a long time. I
really like the teapot card – such a
great idea!
Sarah and our older daughter
Isabelle were at another nursery
before coming to you and I
just can’t believe the difference
between the two settings.

Apple Tree Day Nursery, Horton Lane, Epsom, KT19 8PB
We care about your child,
come and see for yourself
Our
approach
Our nursery
Apple Tree Day Nursery is
a friendly and professional
children’s day nursery in Epsom.
Established in 1984, we provide
50 places for children aged from
three months to five years – at
very competitive rates.
Every child has a key person
who closely monitors their
development and creates an
individual plan to help them
progress. This person is also a
single point of contact for parents.
We offer a safe and fun
environment for your child to
learn, play and grow.
We are open 8am to 6pm,
Mon-Fri (except bank holidays),
for full day sessions.
Activities
Our team
We employ both male and
female nursery staff and helpers
of different ages.
All our staff are Criminal Records
Bureau checked and first aid
trained while the majority have
formal childcare qualifications.
To ensure continuity for the
children in our care, we never use
agency staff and have very low
rates of staff turnover.
The great outdoors:
The arts:
We have an extensive outdoor area
for your child to explore including
a large garden, soft play area,
all-weather enclosure, role play
area, wooden climbing frames and
a‘walk-in’ sandpit.
We have a wide range of activities
to build your child’s confidence
including: sensory toys, musical
instruments, cooking, construction
toys, stories with puppets, arts and
crafts, singing and dancing and
role play.
Days out:
Our days out include visits to local
amenities such as Horton Country
Park, the duck pond, local farm,
horses or Epsom library.
Learning:
Older children can take part in
fun learning activities such as
French language and ‘fit and fun’
exercise classes.
For children aged up to two there
is at least one carer for every three
children (and one for every four
children aged two to three). We
have one carer for every eight
children aged three to five.
Food and
nutrition
Our cook makes freshly
prepared meals on-site every
day in our fully equipped
kitchen area.
We can cater for different
dietary needs including allergies
and vegetarian options.
We grow our own vegetables
and teach our children about
healthy eating.
