DWD intends to award $16,181 to Tekware Group in Milwaukee to train 4 new hires in the
rescue techniques needed for cell tower maintenance and modifications. Jamtech
Communications will provide the training.
DWD intends to award Pro Products, Inc. in Sturgeon Bay $21,987 to train 18 incumbent
employees in beginner, intermediate, and advanced level blueprint and handheld gauge
reading, geometric dimensioning and tolerance training, and machine programming software
training. Northeast Wisconsin Technical College will provide the training.
DWD intends to award $15,400 to the Superior Council for the Arts to train 3 incumbent
workers and 6 new hires in the design and management of cultural and tourist related exhibits
and event management to boost the tourism industry in the Superior area.

DWD intends to award VSI, LLC in Green Bay $25,000 to train 13 incumbent employees and 1
new Wisconsin employee in internal auditing and lean manufacturing.
Information Technology
DWD intends to award $139,000 to IBM in Milwaukee to train 226 incumbent employees in
cloud and storage systems, software applications, IBM power systems, and SAP.
DWD intends to award $68,005 to provide training for 20 workers in Ruby, HTML5/CSS,
JavaScript, Node.js, and user experience design in partnership with 5 Wisconsin businesses.
The YWCA Madison is partnering with several employers on the grant: 100 Health, Adorable IO,
LLC, GettyImages, Murfie, and Yahara Software.

management, and SAP FICO.

Healthcare
DWD intends to award $82,418 to train up to 20 workers associated with the "Training and
Employment for Caregivers" train the trainer program through the Greater Wisconsin Agency
on Aging Resources, Inc. in Madison, in partnership with several employers: Community Living
Alliance, Gemini Cares, Inc., LoriKnapp Companies, MCFI Home Care, LLC, Society’s Assets,
Inc., and Wisconsin Personal Services Association. These trainers will train 1,025 incumbent
workers in dementia care and direct care competencies.
DWD intends to award Agape Supportive Living, LLC in Milwaukee $26,400 for 25 workers to
receive community-based residential facility training in partnership with Adulthood’s Path II,
LLC and KCAL.

health aides in partnership with Menominee County Human Services, Paiser’s Oakhaven,
Shawano County Department of Social Services, and The Cottages on Golden Pond.
