The Future of Humanitarian Response - WEForum

The Future of
Humanitarian
Response
World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2017
Davos-Klosters, Switzerland 17-20 January
The nature of conflicts we face today has changed considerably.
Current humanitarian action and long-term development
approaches no longer match the reality of protracted crises and
forced displacement. To address these humanitarian challenges,
the World Economic Forum will provide a platform for key
stakeholders to build a common understanding and a community
of practice on the future of the humanitarian system.

The photographers of “Inside Za’atari”,
supported by Save the Children, show the
diversity of their fellow refugees, through
portraits and testimonies which illustrate
their fears, losses, and worries but also
their hopes, aspirations, joys and dreams.
