Current Behavior: When importing from plain text v2 data base I note the behavior that
when an entry has a dot “.”. In its title V3.02 creates a group with the text before the dot
and an entry with the text after the dot. The example would be an Entry title of eBay.com
from V2.10 exported to plain text. When in V3.02 imported From plain text it returns a
new group of eBay with one entry of com.
Expected Behavior: Entry Imports as single entry.
Create New Database & Entry
Step-1 Select File + New Database
Step-2 Enter Password for database into the Safe Combination: field of the Safe
Combination Setup dialog box.
Step-3 Enter Password for database into the Verify: field of the Safe Combination Setup
dialog box.
Step-4 Select “OK” button from the Safe Combination Setup dialog box.
Step-5 Select Edit + Add Entry
Step-6 Enter eBay.com into the “Title:” field of the “Add Entry” dialog box.
Step-7 Select “Generate” button from the Random Password section of the “Add Entry”
dialog box.
Step-8 Select “OK” button from the “Add Entry” dialog box.
Step-9 Enter File Name for database into “File Name:” field of the “Please Choose a New
Name for the Current (Untitled) Database” dialog box.
Step-10 Select Save button from the “Please Choose a New Name for the Current
(Untitled) Database” dialog box.
Export Test Script
Step-1 Select File + Export To + Plain Text (tab separated)… from the main menu.
Step-2 Enter Password for database into the Safe Combination: field of the Export Text
dialog box.
Step-3 Enter File Name for export into File Name: field of the Please name the plaintext
file dialog box.
Step-4 Select Save button from the Please name the plaintext file dialog box.
Import Test Script
Step-1 Select File + New Database
Step-2 Enter Password for database into the Safe Combination: field of the Safe
Combination Setup dialog box.
Step-3 Enter Password for database into the Verify: field of the Safe Combination Setup
dialog box.
Step-4 Select “OK” button from the Safe Combination Setup dialog box.
Step-5 Select File + Import From + Plain Text (tab separated)… from the main menu.
Step-6 Select “OK” button from the Import Text Setting dialog box.
Step-7 Select file generated in Export Test Script Step-4
Step-8 Select “Open” button from the “Please Choose a Text File to Import” dialog box.
Step-9 “OK” button from the “Status” dialog box.
