Regulation Roma by Night Run 2017

The ASD FORHANS TEAM, under the auspices of the Fidal Lazio and of the CSI, organizes on august
25, 2017 an half - marathon running event called “ROMA BY NIGHT RUN”
Novelty 2017 : this year, for the less trained and for the Nordic and Fit Walker, there will be also a
non competitive running of 7 km called “Stracittadina”.
The event consists of the following tests. In the application form you are required to choose one
of the events in which they will participate.
HALF MARATHON
Start at 22.00. Refreshments provided at km 6, 10, 16 and upon arrival, completely flat and lighted
course.
STRACITTADINA COMPETITIVE 7 KM
Open to runners, starting at 22: 00, refreshments provided at 6 km and arrival.
The route (the first 7 km of the Half Marathon) is completely flat and enlightened.
STRACITTADINA NOT COMPETITIVE 7 KM
Open to runners, Nordic Walking and Walking Fit and walkers.
Start: 22:00 queued to Stracittadina. Before starting the Fit Walkers, then Nordic and, in the end,
the walkers. Refreshments provided at 6 km and arrival.
Additional services included in the inscription
Parking, Secretariat, Luggage checked bags, Charts Center, Aperinight with live music, security
service, final refreshment, info point for Italian and foreign athletes, medical assistance (athletes,
during the course of the race, will be followed by a service physician in tow Ambulance equipped
with defibrillator)
Toilets, changing rooms and showers available before and after the race at the Circle of State Police
50 meters from the start / finish area.
PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS
ATHLETES RESIDENT IN ITALY
They can attend all athletes residing in Italy, Italians and foreigners, who have reached 18 years of
age at the time of Rome by Night Run 2017 (born before August 25, 1999), with one of the
following requirements:
Half marathon:
1) Athletes members for 2017 with a club affiliated to the FIDAL
2) Athletes possessing FIDAL Runcard
3) Athletes in possession of Runcard Eps
The Runcard must be combined with specific medical certificate of fitness for competitive athletics
issued by an Italian doctor who must be shown to the organizers and stored in the original, in copy,
to the acts of the organizing company.
4) For the ONLY foreign athletes resident in Italy:
Being a member of Athletics Federations Foreign, affiliated to the IAAF or IPC; in this case will be
sent upon registration (fax no. +39 06 91659334 or by e-mail at [email protected])
Under the FIDAL regulations IS NOT ALLOW THE PARTICIPATION AT THE RACE WITH ONLY MEDICAL
CERTIFICATE OR WITH CARD OF SPORT PROMOTION AUTHORITY
Stracittadina competitive
1) Athletes members for 2017 with a club affiliated to the FIDAL or EPS submitting replacement of
the card downloaded from the FIDAL society website (this substitute attests in fact the renewal for
2017) or membership declaration signed by the President.
2) Athletes possessing FIDAL Runcard (UISP, AICS, Libertas, etc.) Presenting card in which the
release date or deadline and medical certificate or declaration signed by the President are visible.
3) Athletes in possession of Runcard Eps presenting passport and medical certificate
For a daily membership (FREE SPORT) the cost is € 2,00 submitting your competitive medical
certificate valid for athletics.
FOREIGN ATHLETES
ITALIANS LIVING ABROAD
Half marathon:
All Italians athletes, living abroad, who have reached 18 years of age as of August 25, 2017
The same must hold one of the following requirements:
- Be enrolled with Athletics Federations Foreign, affiliated to the IAAF or IPC. In this case will be
sent upon registration (fax no. +39 06 91659334, or by e-mail at [email protected] ) your
membership card
- Being a membership of clubs affiliated with FIDAL .
- Being in possession of RUNCARD FIDAL combined with specific medical certificate of fitness for
competitive athletics issued by an Italian doctor who must be shown to the organizers and stored
in the original and, in copy, to the acts of the organizing company.
It is not allowed the participation of Italian athletes residing abroad without any of the listed
requirements.
Stracittadina competitive
- Being enrolled with Athletics Federations Foreign, affiliated to the IAAF or IPC. In this case will be
sent upon registration (fax no. +39 06 91659334, or by e-mail at [email protected] ) your
membership card.
- Be enrolled by FIDAL or EPS through an affiliated Italian company.
- Being in possession of RUNCARD FIDAL or RUNCARD EPS combined with specific agonistic
certificate of medical aptitude for athletics issued by an Italian doctor who must be shown to the
organizers and stored in the original and, in copy, to the acts of the organizing company.
FOREIGN RESIDENTS ABROAD
Half marathon:
The partecipation is allowed to athletes who have reached 18 years of age as of August 25, 2017
non-Italian residents and abroad.
The same must hold one of the following requirements:
- Being enrolled with Athletics Federations Foreign, affiliated to the IAAF or IPC. In this case will be
sent upon registration (fax no. +39 06 91659334, or by e-mail at [email protected] your
membership card to your team.
- Being in possession of RUNCARD FIDAL combined with medical certificate may be issued in their
country, but it has been conducted the same tests provided for by Italian legislation: a) medical
examination; b) complete urine analysis; c) electrocardiogram at rest and after exercise; d)
spirography.
Stracittadina competitive
- Being enrolled with Athletics Federations Foreign, affiliated to the IAAF or IPC. In this case will be
sent upon registration (fax no. +39 06 91659334, or by e-mail at [email protected] ) your
membership card to your team
- Being in possession of RUNCARD FIDAL or RUNCARD EPS combined with specific agonistic
certificate of medical aptitude for athletics issued by an Italian doctor who must be shown to the
organizers and stored in the original, in copy, to the acts of the organizing company.
Stracittadina NOT for competitive runners, walking, and Fit for Nordic W.
Event open to all upon registration and does not require a medical certificate
HOURS OF THE EVENT
At 16 - Opening Hospitality Village - the Music Bridge, the river Tiber.
At 18.30 - Opening Aperinight Forhans (aperitif "music" offered participants)
At 22 - Start Half Marathon, Stracittadina for competitive runners, Stracittadina fot noncompetitive
METHODS REGISTRATION

Per competitive races,
It is possible to subscribe to various events by filling out the registration form for individuals or
societies, by ticking the choice of the type of event to which you want to register
Enrollments must be complete with:
- the application form filled in and scanned;
- all documents required by the type of sign that you belong to (see sec. Requirements
partcipation)
- Proof of payment of the fee scanned
Registration for the event will close strictly at 20:00 TUESDAY August 22, 2017 and in any case, for
safety reasons, reached the 2,500 registered athletes.
For competitive events, no entries will be accepted on race day.
For the not competitive Stracittadina it will also be available on race day but, in this case, the
race pack will not be guaranteed

• € 18 from March 1 to 31 May
• € 20 from June 1 to August 13
• € 25 from August 14 to 22 August
Stracittadina competitive and non-competitive
• € 10 from March 1 to 13 August

BIB NUMBERS AND RACE PACKETS
Bib number pick up : Friday August 25, 2017 from 16 to 21 at the Ospitality Village, Ponte della
Musica – L.go Tevere Flaminio.
The race packet will be given upon return of the chip
The chip will be positioned at the back of the bib number. At the end of the race, upon return of
the chip; for every missing chip, € 18 will be charged to the society or the individual athlete.
Race packet is guaranteed to the first 2000 athletes who will finish competitive races and it will be
given after the race – Half Marathon and Stracittadina – upon return of the chip and before the
start, for the Fit Run. For Fit run will be garanteded to the first 500 recorded.
The medal is guaranteed to the first 2000 athletes who will finish competitive races and it will be
given only to the Half Marathon athletes after the race and upon return of the chip.
T Shirt At the time of the bib number collection the athletes of the half marathon , will receive the
tecnical event t shirt.
AWARDS
The awards ceremony will take place at the end of the manifestation. The award-winning athletes
must personally collect the prize or delegate others in writing.
Awards NOT COLLECTED on the day of the race will NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE from the day.
Awards to societies
The first 20 societies with the largest number of arrived athletes, will be rewarded with
reimbursement of expenses.
NOTE. The first 5 societies with a minimum of 40 arrived athletes – from the 6th to the 10th
society with a minimum of 30 arrived athletes – from 11th to 20th society with a minimum arrived
athletes.

Any complaints must be submitted in writing to the Judge of Appeal within 30 minutes after
publication of the results, accompanied by a fee-complaint of € 50.00, which will be refunded if the
complaint acceptance.
For all that was not specified here, please refer to the technical and organizational regulations
approved by FIDAL.
STRACITTADINA
It will be given a technical acknowledgment to the first 10 to the first arrived M, and to the first
arrived 5 F with technical products and \ or food.
