November 03, 2013 | Suzanne Zack, UConn Libraries, Mansfield
Paintings by Mansfield resident Scott Rhoades, who recently
retired from a 35-year art education career in the Coventry school
system, are featured in the UConn Libraries winter art exhibits starting
Nov. 4 and running through Feb. 21, 2014.
Rhoades' exhibit, "Places and Faces: Near and Far," features
paintings of familiar UConn figures, as well as notable non-UConn
figures, Mansfield and Coventry historical buildings, and nature
scenes. This is the first formal public show of his work.
