Registration Fees
Unfortunately we have had to increase the registration fees for this competition due the rising
costs associated with running the competition, we have not had any increase in fees for a number
of years now and we cannot absorb these rising costs, which include electricity, insurance,
referees, Touch NSW, Touch Australia, ground maintenance, ground hire and the general
running costs associated with running the competition.
With all this in mind a team fee of $900 still represents a good value as most teams have at
least 12 players in their team this equates to $5.35 a game with each competition having 14
round games which is even less if you have more players in your team. Still a cheap sport!
I am sure you all will agree that it is nearly impossible to find any sport that is as cheap as Touch
Football. With the increase in fees we will be able to fund programs to attract more referees and
to increase the high standard of the existing referees, as well as to promote the sport in the
Campbelltown area.
If we are able to attract more players and teams we will be able to grow the sport which will
enable us to keep our costs low and provide a well run and fun competition
By round 4 full payments of teams registration fee of $900 needs to be paid.
From round, 5 teams that are not financial will not take the field.
Please note that student rebate will only be payable to school students up to the age of 18 years
of age. Rebates will be deducted from your team registration with student rebate form.
Team Composition
Teams must nominate between 10 - 14 players. No teams accepted with less than 10 players.
Players not on original team nomination sheet can be added up to round 4. If teams require to
add players after round 4 they must apply in writing to Tournament director stating why, letter
must be in 1 week prior to playing. Therefore no player can be added on the night you play after
round 4.From round 8 NO players can be added to team regardless.
Ladies are allowed to play for two different divisions in the mixed competition only, however
must be listed on the team registration sheet prior to Round 4. Men are only allowed to play in
one division.
UNREGISTERED PLAYERS.
Teams playing unregistered players or forging a registered player's signature will automatically
forfeit that game and a penalty will be determined exclusively by the Committee and the decision
will not be subject to appeal. Team failing to adhere to player registration regulations are subject
to losing all their competition points.
INSURANCE
The fees are covered in the Affiliation and Insurance fees paid with your registration. If
however, registration fees remain unpaid at the conclusion of round Five, no Insurance cover is
provided and claims for injury will not be accepted.

UNIFORM
TEAMS NOT IN UNIFORM WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY FROM ROUND 4.
This includes CLEAR numbers. Any player not in uniform after round 4 without consent from
the committee won’t be allowed to play. The referee with a night director has the ability to allow
or not allow a player to take the field.
DISCIPLINE & PLAYER MISCONDUCT.
-If dismissed for a "Period of Time" the player must immediately leave the field and wait until
recalled by the referee. The player must stand in the middle of the opposition's touchline. If the
period of time dismissed exceeds the remainder of the game, no penalty shall be incurred in the
following match, provided the referee brings the player back on to the field of play BEFORE
signaling full time.
-If dismissed for a "Period of Time" twice within the same game, the player will incur an
automatic two (2) round suspension.
-Please note that dismissal for the "Remainder of The Game" incurs an automatic two (2) round
suspension, depending on charge. (No appeal). Second dismissal during the same competition is
an automatic four (4) round suspension. Third dismissal is total suspension from the competition.
In ALL cases, the referee's decision is final and will be fully supported by the Committee.
-If, at the discretion of the referee, a further penalty should be imposed, the Judiciary Committee
will decide this penalty.
-If a player plays in the Men’s or Mixed Division his/her suspension is a ROUND suspension.
(i.e. a two (2) round suspension cannot be served by counting both games in each division in the
one round.
-If a player participates in a game whilst under suspension, he/she will automatically be
disqualified for the remainder of the competition. The team will also forfeit that game.
-No player is allowed to play with another team registered in the same division. The player
concerned will receive a two (2) round suspension, and the offending team will forfeit the game.
SIGNING ON.
All players must sign their own name only on the sign on sheets, BEFORE taking the field.
Signing on is compulsory. Failure to sign on will result in a forfeit being allocated against
the offending team. It will also affect your potential eligibility to play in the semi final series, as
forfeits do not count towards games played. To be eligible to play in the semi finals you must
have played in more than 51% (or a figure as determined by the executive committee) of the
rounds played. The sign on sheet displays your progressive games played total. It
is up to each individual player to ensure that this total is correct, if it is not, please notify the
committee immediately so that your signature details can be checked against the sign on sheets.
SEMI FINALS QUALIFICATION CRITERIA.
To qualify for the semi final and knockouts, a player must have played AND signed on for
MORE than fifty one percent (51%) of the competition rounds played in that division. Wet
weather matches do not count in calculations for number of games played. Byes will count
towards number of games played for an individual. Any player who through INJURY ONLY
fails to comply with these criteria may be allowed to play upon the production of a medical
certificate supporting his/her absence from the playing field. Any medical certificate must be
produced within 14 days of sustaining the injury and at 4 weekly intervals thereafter. A decision
to allow the player to play on this basis or any other basis (judged on a case by case basis) is
entirely at the executive committee’s discretion.
Final Series
Semi finals and finals- if games are not able to be played due to the weather the
following will take place.
Week 1: Team 1 vs team 2, team 1 will go straight into grand final .Team 3 vs team 4, team
4 will be eliminated.
Week 2: Team 2 vs team 3. Team 2 will go into grand final team 3 will be eliminated.
Week 3: Grand Final Team 1 vs Team 2 team 1 will be winner and team 2 will be runner up.
If the final series has started the high placed team advances eg: Week 1 team 2 vs team 3team 3 wins, they are then the higher ranked team
If games are not played due to weather the team higher on the table will advance
Make up of final series will be determined by number of teams entered.
A drawn game in semi's, finals and grand finals will be decided by "drop off". Here both teams
commence extra time with 1 less player with a further player leaving the field after every 2
minutes until there are 3 players remaining. The first scorer in this period will be determined as
the winner (rules as per ATA).
FIRST AID, NOTIFICATION OF INJURY.
Should any member of a team suffer any sort of injury during the course of a competition game
that player, team delegate or another nominated representative must notify the referee and report
the injury to night director. An official will record the injury in the first aid register. If the
individual cannot action this requirement due to the nature of the injury, the team delegate or
another nominated person must ensure that the injury is recorded. The Secretary of the
Association will not endorse a claim for insurance unless the above procedures have been carried
out and can be confirmed.
GENERAL.
Captains are the only players who may ask questions of the referee. This must be done with a
polite manner. Over vigorous or continual questioning will result in a penalty and subsequent
disciplinary action as the referee sees fit.
Captains should make sure that the score cards are signed at the conclusion of the game, please
assist with the provision of names for best and fairest points.
Duty Referee's
Teams must supply 2 players into the referee’s room on rostered day and time to help duty
referee if needed.
Non-compliance of duty referees obligations on the night will see the team
contact/captain receives a 2 weeks suspension plus loss of 4 competition
points.
