The WCU vs. Cheyney football game will be held on Saturday, October 22nd and will kick-off at 2:00pm. Gates will open at 12:00pm. Homecoming Weekend Parking and Parade Route Information Due to Homecoming Weekend (October 21-23rd), Q-Lot, K-lot, and Llot will be closed Friday, October 21, 2016 @ 6pm. All vehicles must be moved beginning at 12:00 noon on Friday, October 21, 2016 to MLot, Matlack Garage, Sharpless Garage, New Street Garage, or D-Lot. All Vehicles must return to Q-Lot, K-Lot and L-Lot on Sunday 10/23/16 by 6pm. Ticketing will be suspended in these temporary locations for legally parked vehicles. R-Lot will be closed Thursday, October 20, 2016 @ 6pm. All vehicles must be moved beginning at 6:00pm on October 20, 2016 to M-lot or Matlack Garage. All Vehicles must return to R-lot on Sunday, October 23, 2016 by 6pm. Ticketing will be suspended in these temporary locations for legally parked vehicles. Rosedale Ave. will be blocked off at the intersection of Church & Rosedale and the intersection of S. New street and Rosedale Ave, on Saturday, October 22, 2016 @ 9:30am in preparation for the WCU Homecoming Parade between the hours of 9;30am and 11:30am. There will be an additional shuttle bus operating on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 12 noon to 6:00pm that will shuttle visitors to the game. The regular shuttle bus will continue to operate until 2:00am. In preparation for this upcoming Homecoming weekend 2016 the Department of Public Safety will be instituting the following sign in procedures for guests visiting and signing into our Residence Halls: All visitors (17 years and older) attempting to be signed into our Residence Halls, must provide a valid picture ID ( State issued photo ID, Driver’s, Military ID, College ID or passport only). If they do not have the proper identification, they will be denied access into the residence halls. All guests under the age of 17 will need to report to Public Safety with their parent (or legal guardian) to complete visitor guest registration form between the hours of 3pm and 7pm. Any minors that do not follow this policy will be denied access. Parade route: The Parade leaves Sykes Lot-K, towards Norfolk Ave.,turns left onto Church Street and then left onto W. Rosedale. The Parade judging will take place directly in front of Sykes Student Union. Vehicles in the Parade will then head West on W. Rosedale and then make a left by the tennis courts to return back to K-lot. Please note: Any vehicles which are illegally parked will be ticketed and/or towed per University and State of Pennsylvania parking regulations.
