Berwick Gala Days Light Horse Show September 7th, 2015 Kings County Area, Kings Mutual Century Centre, Berwick, NS This is a fun show meant to give everyone a chance to show in a safe and fun environment. Show office will open 7am Monday. ENTRY FORM/CLASS LISTS: The Entry forms, including payment, are due Saturday September 5th, 2015. Class fee is $5.00/class. Entries received after this date will be considered as post entry. Post entries will be an additional $2 per class fee ($7 class). Ribbons will be awarded up until 6th place. Money will be awarded up to 4th place: 1st‐$10, 2nd‐$8, 3rd‐$6, 4th‐$4 High Point Awards: Trophies will be awarded to the rider with the most points between showmanship, equitation/horsemanship, pleasure and command classes. To qualify the rider must take part in all the named classes. If there is a tie, the decision will be made by the rider who places the highest in Equitation/Horsemanship class. The point system will be as follow: 1st= 7 pts., 2nd= 6 pts, 3rd= 5 pts, 4th=3 pts, 5th= 2 pts, 6th= 1 pts. Patterns will be posted at the announcer’s booth by 8:00am. There must be at least 3 entries per class or the class will be canceled and money refunded. The gymkhana games at the end of the day are for fun, no prize money. SAFETY: The ring is a small ring, with sand footing. The ring will be available for riding at 7am the day of the show. There is no warm up ring available while the show is running, therefore the show committee will allow for a few minutes while the class is being organized for riders to w/t‐j/c‐l around before their class starts. Please note the with the ring size, the gaming dimensions may not be met. Helmets with a fixed harness must be worn by all riders. All exhibitors must have and provide proof of insurance (NSEF). This must be presented to show office. The Gala Days Horse Show Committee reserves the right to review all entries. Any unsafe riding or abuse at any time, rider will be asked to leave. Please help the show committee by putting all manure in designated spot. There will be forks and wheelbarrows available. OTHER: Washrooms will be available in the Apple Dome. We ask all Grand and Reserve Champions to sign thank you cards before leaving at the end of the day so that we can thank our sponsors for their generous contribution and support. The participant must sign this waiver to hereby remiss, release, and forever discharge Berwick Gala Days Committee and its present, as well as former directors, members, and volunteers. This form states that Berwick Gala Days is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to personal property or personal injury of any nature whatsoever, as well as death alleged to have resulted from participating in the Berwick Gala Days Light Horse Show.
