a broad range of IT services, including IT consulting. The company employs over 14,000 heads
worldwide, and its revenue came in at USD 277m while net income was reported at USD 20m in 2012.
Roles and responsibilities:
 Part of the 15 member development team who worked for Veracode USA (Veracode provides the
world’s leading Application Risk Management Platform and is Based in Massachusetts, Boston).
 Implemented and enhanced a web scanner that looks for vulnerabilities in websites.
 Communicated with client and onsite architect in requirement elicitation.
 Participated in designing probable implementation approaches with my Project Manager to execute the
requirements as per the stakeholder’s satisfaction.
 Part of the implementation team that developed an automated reporting system using ‘itext’.
 Worked in the Amazon cloud services with massively parallel scan teams.
 Worked on the Java platform that integrates different scanners.
 Developed a transportation system that would optimize cost by finding the shortest distance.

Roles and responsibilities:
 Computerized the manual tea tasting system, which enabled the group to reduce time and
subsequently save 40% in costs.
 Responsible for the functionality of the tea forecasting system and directly reported to the Divisional
Head.
 Designed and developed an interactive website for the tea division to promote Sri Lankan tea in the
web.
 Assisted the head of Tea and the tea buying officers in the tea auctions.
 Suggested an e-auctioning system for the Sri Lankan tea auctions.
