OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN - PROCESS Key Responsibilities: Carry out process related First line, preventive and corrective maintenance activities as per routine schedules, Integrated Asset plan & CMMMS to ensure safe operation, optimum reliability and availability of equipment and facilities. Start up and controlled shutdown of utilities and process systems as required. Respond to any process and equipment upsets with due regards to safety of personnel, plant and environment Maintain accurate & up-to-date CMMS reports, daily activities reports, logs, records of equipment and activities. Conduct proper verbal and written handover during shift change and crew change. Control room operation. Monitor control and the process and equipment via DCS, fire & gas controls, Equipment’s UCPs. Coordinate activities to interface safely with other on-going operations. Adjust and record process parameters to maintain plant throughput and quality. Maintain accurate logs, records and handovers for all activities undertaken. Perform duties of system operator to ensure safe execution of third parties and non-routine activities. Assist third parties and vendors as they conduct their specialised tasks and ensure they carry out safely according to contractual requirements. Monitor and maintain chemical injection equipment and rates to according to set targets. Carry out the required samplings and Laboratory analysis. Bunker chemicals, water, lubricants, fuel and carry out the necessary topping up in support of the operation. Perform duties of PTW system operator to ensure safe execution of routine and non-routine activities. Coordinate & supervise and support third parties and vendor’s activities. Carry out all activities with due regards to safety and ensure risks are minimized to a low as reasonable practicable. Report unsafe acts and situations and Participate actively in any HSE activities and programs. Conduct regular round checks to monitor process and equipment & maintain security to safe guard personnel on board the platform, process facilities and equipment. Emergency response preparedness. Perform designated roles and responsibilities in HIP emergency response team (ERT) Respond to any emergency situations and actively participate in emergency response exercise. Maintain, inspect and test safely equipment line fire fighting equipment, emergency equipment and FGS system Maintain a very high standard of housekeeping throughout the platform at all times. Actively participate in any types of company training raining and development programmes to enhance knowledge and competency. Comply to ISO 14001 requirements & programs and carry out the associated environment management plan (EMP) and targets. Assist in administration, movement and storage of materials on the platform, logistical and loading activities. Key Requirements: Minimum Diploma in Process Technology or any equivalent engineering field. Certificate in process engineering from recognized institution or SPM/SPMV certificate with credit in science subjects will also be considered but must with at least 5 years related working experience preferable offshore environment. A highly motivated individual & able to work independently as well as in team consisting of personnel of multi-cultural background, both staffs and contractors.
