“In the same way that children engage
in play, adults can rediscover the joy
and importance of their own play and
creativity.” - Walter F. Drew, Ed.D.
A unique and enjoyable “hands-on” play experience exploring
ways of nurturing creativity, healthy brain development, and
strengthening social and emotional wellbeing in young children.
In this session adults engage in play with open-ended materials as a
way of deepening their understanding of how play impacts learning
and child development. The process is aligned with the American
Academy of Pediatrics report, “The Importance of Play in Promoting
Healthy Child development and Maintaining Strong Parent-Child
Bonds”
Child care will be provided.
There is no charge for this event.
Space is limited. Registration is required.
