Log into BigWave using your
username and password.
3.
Once you log into BigWave, the
Manage Referrals page will be
displayed.

Accept a Referral
Accept a Referral from The Manage Referrals Page.

You have 30 minutes to either Accept or Reject a Referral

If the Referral is not accepted within 30 minutes, it moves to the next available Broker

You can view the Referral’s zip and city before accepting or rejecting the Referral.

To Accept the Referral, move the Referral status to “Accepted”. You must move Referral status from
this point.

Manage your Referrals
Move Referral status as follows:

Move Referral status to Follow-Up Completed once you have contacted the Referral
Please ensure you follow-up on your Referral within 60 minutes.
The Referral tool sets the expectation that the Referral will be contacted within 60 minutes.

Move Referral status to either Quote Completed or Sold (for sold you’ll need to enter Account #)

Deferred, Delayed, or Not a Good Prospect status are also available (need to enter justification)

View Metrics
View metrics from BigWave Systems via total count and daily count.

Export Metrics
Export Referrals to .csv and perform your own reporting (counts by status, etc.)
(Note, we cannot download Referral contact information due to PII requirements.)

Maintain your Profile
Update your profile with the ability to:

Add additional email or text notifications

Change your preferred contact method

Change your phone provider (for text notifications)
Setting Availability:
Manual Switch:
You can set your days and hours of
availability and you can set long
OR
periods of time when you are
unavailable (i.e., vacation, etc.)
Daily / Hourly and long term Availability
Consider the on and off switch at
the top as a manual override to
override availability specified under
Hours of Availability.
For example: Your availability on
Monday is set to 8 am – 5 pm. You
want to be unavailable at 1 pm until
the next clock in time of 8 am the
next day. Set your master switch to
Off at 1 pm and when you are ready
to work the next day at 8 am, your
availability will be ON.
“Add more hours” allows you to
choose more time periods to set.
“Close” indicates indicate days of
week you don’t want to receive
