GENERAL INFORMATION
The Omni Hotel at Amelia Island Plantation will host our Meeting for 2014. This promises to be an exciting
change and one that should be popular with families. Link to www.weeklyresortguide.com to review the many
opportunities this new resort offers. Our traditional time of fellowship, prayer and testimony will again be held
on Tuesday morning as well as the 3rd Annual Fertilizer 5K Fun Run and Walk at 8:30 AM. The ever popular and
expanding Silent Auction will be the place to be on Tuesday Evening. As an added convenience registration fees
and dues may now be paid by credit card. Dress for all events is “Resort Casual”.
ROOM RESERVATIONS
Make your reservations directly with the Omni Hotel & Resort, 39 Beach Lagoon Road, Amelia Island,
FL. (904) 261-6161. Please remember the special room rate of $229.00. This rate applies only if your
reservation is made by THE DEADLINE OF MONDAY, JUNE 13, 2014. Please note that any fees incurred
due to early departure are the responsibility of the individual, not GPFES.
PLEASE REMEMBER, YOU MUST BE A CURRENT MEMBER OF G.P.F.E.S. TO QUALIFY FOR
THIS ROOM RATE. 2014 MEMBERSHIP DUES MUST BE PAID. PAYMENT OF MEETING
REGISTRATION FEES IS ALSO REQUIRED FOR THIS RATE TO APPLY. OMNI HOTELS POLICY
REQUIRES A 1 NIGHTS RESERVATION DEPOSIT AT THE TIME OF BOOKING.
MEETING REGISTRATION FEES
Registration Fees include hotel charges for meeting rooms, coffee breaks, hospitality receptions and the
banquet on Tuesday evening. Extra banquet tickets will be available on a “space available basis” at the
actual cost to G.P.F.E.S.
Registration fees will be refunded if G.P.F.E.S. is notified no later than July 3, 2014.
CERTIFIED CROP ADVISER CEU TRAINING
A CCA CEU training session will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Approximately 3.5 hours of credit will
be offered with emphasis on Soil & Water Management. The $50.00 fee is to cover the meeting room, the
coffee break and any handouts. Pre-registration is encouraged.

The 2014 Summer Meeting will be held at the exciting new Omni Hotel and Resort at Amelia Plantation on Amelia

Again this year, there will be a 5K Fun Run/Walk on Tuesday morning. If interested, please register using the
