Chad—March 10 Work Anniversary March marks the 3 year anniversary for Pastor BR www.santuckbapst.org [email protected] From the Heart Three years ago this month, Santuck Baptist Church called me to be the Senior Pastor. Charlene and I prayed about this step and felt the leading of God to plant our lives with this awesome church family. While every move and new situation requires adjustments, you were patient, praying, and supportive as we began this journey together. Looking back over these three years I can see God’s hand in many ways. As a visionary type leader I am more so looking into the future, and we are poised for a tremendous future! Right now we have a very challenging vision in which we are currently implementing. We own an additional 67 acres for future growth. More importantly, we are moving deeper into being a house of prayer. Many are walking deeper with the Lord than ever before. Our worship is not only energetic but also very passionate. We are centered on the Word of God. Ministries are growing, people are serving, and the church is growing! Are we perfect? NO! We have many challenges before us—opportunities that are exciting. We are focused on a strong steady growth of coming and serving. We also have the challenge before us to pay off the new land. With God’s people’s faithfulness, I know this can be done very quickly. God’s vision always involves God’s people serving. God works in and through us to do what only He can do. Our call is to do “whatever it takes to fully please Jesus.” Santuck is an area-wide church. The effects of our ministry moves way beyond our community. That is very exciting! While many evaluate a church based on size and attendance, we are much more focused on becoming disciples. Jesus’ call is to become disciples not just draw a crowd. We are to be a “sending” church not “seating” church. Our mission statement says it this way: “Santuck Baptist Church is a Family of Families Following and Making Follower of Christ.” I am so grateful for everyone that is on this journey together. Let’s keep our eyes looking forward, our knees at the altar, and our feet carrying the gospel to the world! God gets all the glory for the great things He will do as well as what He has already done! It is a joy and privilege to be your pastor!
