Schneider Named Top Safety Carrier by Dow Chemical
Schneider, one of the nation’s largest and fastest-growing bulk chemical transportation carriers, recently
received the 2013 Dow Core Carrier Silver Award for excellence in the safe transport of products for The Dow
Chemical Company. The award recognizes Schneider for carrying out the highest levels of service
performance and safety compliance.
To earn this honor from Dow, a carrier must have no serious or moderate carrier-caused transportation
incidents, and no more than one carrier-caused minor incident per 10,000 shipments. To achieve this sizable
goal, safety must be at the core of a carrier’s operations.
