WHY THIS LEAFLET
1.
WHY
THIS
LEAFLET
This leaflet has been created for all
our media and TV partners to
understand better the concept of
One Team, Euroleague’s Basketball
Corporate Responsibility Program,
and the celebration of the “One
Team in support of Special Olympic” games that will be taking place
at the end of November 2013.
You will find detailed information
about the programme itself; the
participation of our strategic
partner Special Olympics; and the
celebration of these specific games
and the activities that we will arrange in the following pages.
But before you go into that, we
want to encourage your media to
help us promote as much as
possible the integration of people
with intellectual disabilities through
all your different platforms and
channels: internal and external.
Because there are a lot of people in
need in all our communities, and a
small effort from each of us can
make a big difference to their lives.

ABOUT THE
“ONE TEAM IN SUPPORT OF
SPECIAL OLYMPICS” ROUNDS
One Team promotes the INTEGRATION OF OUR COMMUNITIES.
As every season, Euroleague
Basketball wants to dedicate the
two round days on Nov. 21-22 and
Nov. 28-29 of the Turkish Airlines
Euroleague
to
promote
the
integration, taking the chance of
the celebration of the International
Day of people with intellectual
disabilities which takes place on
Dec 3rd.
To do this, during the Round Day 6,
all the players will were special
playing uniforms displaying “ONE
TEAM” on the back of the t-shirts
replacing the name of each one of
the players.
This is because, as part of the
Euroleague One Team philosophy,
we want to promote that when
talking about community: We are
One Team!!
We compete for the trophy on the
court; but we get together for our
communities. No matter what
colors we wear on our uniforms;
no matter who we are. We are all
the same: We are One Team!
