Is pleased to be the hot lunch service provider for
Our Lady of Loreto students during the 2014-2015 school year.
Michael’s of Denver Catering has provided hot school lunches to students at independent
schools throughout the Denver Metro community for 17 years.
This year we are offering 3 menu choices each day.
In addition to our popular hot meal selections, Chicken Nuggets, Cheese Calzones and
Spaghetti to name a few, we have salads, sandwiches, and light lunches as a daily alternate
choice. We offer gluten free meals for $5.00 per meal.
Fresh fruit and/or vegetables are included with all hot item menu choices. This year we are
using more organic and local ingredients - some right from our own gardens!
Prices are
$4.25 Regular - $5.25 Extra Large.
Extra Large Meals are offered for grades 4 and higher.
FREE Lunch Day is September 9. You must order online.

Registering for the new school year.
Returning Users: Log in with last years account name and password. If you forgot your password, use the “I forgot my password
link” on the login screen to re-set it. Because students change grades they must be added as new each year. Add students instructions
are listed below. Tutorials will be found at www.hotlunchonline.com
New Users: Set Up your account following these instructions:

Go your school website or (www.DenverSchoolLunch.com),
Click on Login to account or Create an account
Create a Login. Your Login is your email address
Create a Password. It is case sensitive. Make it one you will remember too!
Enter the Password again in the Verify Password field.
Enter your email address in the Email field.
Select a Security Question from the drop-down box.
Enter the answer in the Answer field.
Enter the security code shown in the Verify Code field.
Click on the Create My Account button.
This will take you to the Home Page of your HotLunchOnline account.
Add this page to your favorites for ongoing easy access to your account.

Select the Student Tab.
Select Create New Student
Enter the Students Last Name, First Name, School and Grade
Select Add New Student. Repeat this process for additional students.
Ordering Your Meals

Select the “Order Meals” tab.
Select your student from the drop down menu
Select your meals by clicking the meal selection you want. A complete description is displayed on the left side of calendar.
NEW: under “Bulk Cart Actions” you may add all similar actions. For example if you select milk you can add it everyday
with one click. You can order for multiple students and multiple months at one time. HINT: If you hold CTRL or Shift button
when you click on menu choices they will be added automatically to your cart.
After making your selections, click the “checkout” button in the lower right hand corner of the page.
Review your order to make sure it reflects what you want. If you want to change your order, click the “Change order”
button. If your order is correct click “Pay Now” in the bottom left hand corner of the page.
Either pay with a credit card through Authorize.net or select pay by check. After you enter all of your information click
“Review Order and Continue”. Your order will be processed using the Authorize.net secure payment site.
Please review your order. If everything appears correct click “Pay $x.xx Now” to complete your purchase.
After you have completed your order, please return to your account to verify your order has been placed correctly.
Go to the Order tab to view or change your order. You may move an order forward to replace an order if your student
will miss that day. You must make changes 48 hours in advance.

Hot Lunch Order Policies for Parents
To ensure that correct quantity of food is prepared for school lunch the following policies apply.
Advance ordering: Orders must be placed a minimum of 2 days in advance. There are no same day
meal orders taken.
Order changes: If you have placed an order for a student and know 48 hours in advance that your
student will miss that meal you can move the order to another day. Sign into your account, click order, select
your student. On the calendar click on the meal you want to remove, on the left side of the screen a Credit
Purchase button will appear. Click on credit purchase. You can use credit for future purchases.
Emergency lunches: A few additional lunches are provided to the school in case a student drops or
otherwise needs a replacement lunch. Emergency lunches are for students who purchased a lunch for that
particular day and an accident occurs. They are not for students that forgot to order.
Absence Days: If your student will be out of school and you have 48 hours notice, you can change the
order using the above instructions (see Order changes).
Snow Days: If your school declares a snow day a refund will not be given. Closures for more than one
day will be considered on an individual basis and you will be notified.
Although we understand that Sick Days and Snow Days are unexpected we cannot refund these meals because
the food is purchased and prepared in advance.
Sack Lunches: Sack lunches will be substituted for meal orders when your student goes on an outing
and If the school administration notifies us 48 hours in advance. The school administrative contact is the only
person who may order a change to sack lunches for outings and field days.
