Network Law Firm Agreement
This Agreement (“Agreement”), made this _______day of ____________________, 2017, by and between Legal
Benefits, Inc., parent company of Legal Resources of Virginia, Inc., doing business as Legal Resources (collectively
referred to hereinafter as “Legal Benefits/Company”), and __________________________________________
(“Law Firm”).
Legal Benefits agrees to refer members with legal issues in Law Firm’s areas of law and geographical areas, as set forth
in the Legal Resources Law Firm Application (“Application”), which is hereby incorporated into this Agreement as if fully
set forth herein. Legal Benefits will provide Law Firm with verification that member is in good standing prior to Law
Firm providing advice, consultation and/or representation.
In consideration for performance, Company agrees to pay Law Firm a fee for each legal matter as outlined on the
attached Fee Schedule ("Fees"). In the event fees are not paid by Member to Company, then Company shall be under
no further obligation to remit fees to Law Firm. Law Firm shall remit an invoice to Company at the conclusion of each
legal matter. Company shall remit fees to Law Firm within ten (10) days of receipt of invoice.
Law Firm agrees to offer Member a 25% discount off Law Firm’s standard hourly or flat rate for any legal matter
covered under the Expanded Coverage Benefit as outlined on the attached Fee Schedule. Law Firm will bill member
directly for any discounted fee legal matters.
If Law Firm’s fee agreement with Member is a contingency fee, then the maximum contingency fee that Law Firm will
charge is 25% of any award and/or settlement Member receives. If legal fees are awardable by either statute, rule of
court, or contract, Plan Attorney shall be entitled to the full amount of such fees.
This Agreement shall be for a term of one (1) year, commencing on the above date, and shall automatically renew from
year to year thereafter, unless sixty (60) days prior to the end of any annual renewal period, Law Firm or Legal Benefits
gives written notice of termination of this Agreement. Legal Benefits may immediately terminate this Agreement
for cause.
