Set Up Guide for Golf Cart Misting System
1. The kit consists of a preassembled tank/pump, misting bar, mist tubing,
battery terminals and mounting Velcro.
2. Begin first by locating the tank/pump. In most cases it easily sits inside
basket leaving plenty of room for golf covers, shoes etc.
3. Locate the misting bar in the front ceiling area of the cart.
4. Use specially designed clips to mount bar. Attach clips to bar to allow preferred mounting spacing on the ceiling.
5. Attach 3M adhesive strips to the clips and remove backing to allow adhesive tapes to adhere to the ceiling. Push in place.
6. If you prefer a more permanent installation remove screw from center of
clip and insert screw into hole. Then simple use screwdriver to screw the
clip into only the ribs of the ceiling. Be careful to only screw in an area
where ribs are located so as not to put holes through the roof.
7. Attach mist tubing to the bar’s connector by simply pushing the tube
through the end with a hole and into the connector till you feel it bottoms
out.
8. Use Velcro straps to attach the mist tubing to the roof support rails all the
way back to the pump. Cut tubing to length.
9. Insert the mist tubing in the quick connect fitting on the back of the tank
(just below the black cover). Push tubing into connector until it bottoms
out.
10. We have included a rubber grommet to allow installer to drill 3/8 in. hole
in cart then install grommet to protect power wire going to battery.
11. Route the red/black power wire to the battery location and connect to
either 12VDC or can be connected to two 8VDC batteries in series to obtain 16VDC. The battery connectors are included for ease of connection.
Use Velcro straps to prevent the wire from coming loose.
12. Fill tank with clean fresh water and you’re ready to go.
13. Turn on the switch.
14. You won’t hear pump but will be surrounded with cool refreshing mist.

If a misting head is not providing a fine mist, there could be calcium
build up on the head. First try using your finger nail or brush and lightly
scrape the head of the mister. If it does not allow proper misting, turn
off mister and replace head with spare mister head. To disconnect, push
the ring at mouth of the fitting toward the fitting and simultaneously
pull the tube out of it. You may need pliers; be careful not to pinch head
or tubing.

To clean the head use a product like CLR or Lime Away. Pour a small
amount of CLR or Lime Away into a container enough to cover the
misting head and follow instructions on the bottle for how long to soak.
Once head is clean it can be reinserted in the system. Be sure misting
head is rinsed thoroughly with clean water.
