To Grambling State University Family, Supporters and Friends:
The Office of Admissions and Recruitment will host its Spring High School/Transfer Day on
Saturday, April 16, 2016. The theme will be “School Daze: Taking Back our HBCU”. The
event will be an excellent opportunity for your students to visit our illustrious campus and learn
more about the wonderful opportunities available at Grambling State University.
We have an exciting schedule of events planned for the day. Participants will interact with GSU
administrators, faculty members, alumni, and current students. Information about admissions,
financial aid, academic programs, and campus life will be available. The day will culminate with
a Greek/non-Greek Step Show.
Please distribute the enclosed information to your students and permit them to complete the
Student Registration Form and Student Profile Sheet. Group/individual and student registration
forms and profile sheets should be completed and returned by April 13, 2016. The nonrefundable fee for the day is only $15.00. The $15.00 fee includes admission to the Step Show,
lunch, and a GSU Souvenir. We are asking all interested students to come prepared with the $20
application fee, transcript, and ACT/SAT scores for on-site admissions that will take place
throughout the program.
