Facilities
The Sierra Outdoor School (RLC) is a self-contained facility
owned and operated year round by Clovis Unified School
District, located in the Sierra Mountains above Sonora.
• Large indoor gymnasium with glass backboards.
• Five lighted outdoor courts for evening play and team
practices.
• Spacious rooms for chalk-talks, videos and team
meetings.
• Air-conditioned dorms to house campers.(Separate
housing for coaches)

• Each team will have a chaperone in dorm.Meals in
spacious dining hall.
• Breathtaking views of the Mother Lode mountains
create a “theater” to play in!

Unique environment for coaches and teams to spend quality
time in preparing for the coming season.
The opportunity for players to simultaneously improve through
individual and team skills.
The ability for coaches to work with their players in the off
season on team goals.
The continued opportunity to share and learn from our
exceptionally experienced camp staff (some of the best in
the basketball business!) through clinics and an emphasis on
offensive and defensive fundamentals.
An EXCELLENT team building atmosphere! Teams room
together but also share dorms with other teams providing the
opportunity to meet new people.
Team bonding as players learn about one another is an
integral part of the total camp experience.!

Coach Wilson is a wonderful basketball
clinician. Great with players and
coaches. Bill spent 17 seasons at San
Juan High School in Citrus Heights, 11
of those years as head coach. Coach
Wilsonhas been on the staff of Dick
Edwards’ Basketball Camp since 1972
and the Nor-Cal Girls Team Camp since 1985.

Denis Willens,
Coach Willens is in his 38th year as
director of the Nor-Cal Basketball Team
Camp for Girls. Coach Willens has been
active in coaching for 52 years, a true
“master coach”! Coach Willens has
dedicated his life’s work to coaching and
teaching. He continues to pursue his
basketball passion and is active at all levels of the game
both on and off the court. A lifetime of playing and coaching
basketball has given him a reputation as an outstanding
teacher and motivator, and a camp director who assembles
the finest staff available to make camp a positive learning
experience.
