Charlotte Regional League, Event #1, AM Wave, 14’s Division
The 14’s division will begin at 8:00 am. The 14’s competition is a simple 8 team bracket in which the
winner moves right and the loser moves left. Please note, there are a couple of matches in which the
work team is the previous WINNER. This is so that courts are not in a position in which they will be
waiting to start because of a team reffing on another court. The matches that are highlighted below
indicate that the winner will ref the next match on that court. All matches will be preceded by a 2-4-4
format (2 minutes shared warm-up, followed by 4 minutes of individual team court time). Please check
to see if your team has reffing responsibility at the 8:00 am match.

The 12’s division will begin at 8:00 am. As there are four teams in this division, these teams will
participate in a four-team pool, with the winner being named the Gold Champion. All matches will be
preceded by a 2-4-4 format (2 minutes shared warm-up, followed by 4 minutes of individual team court
time). The winner of the pool is the winner of the event. In the event of a two-way tie, the tie will be
broken according to the head to head matchup. In the event of a three-way tie for first place, the teams
will play off the tie after being seeded according to their set win percentage, followed by their points +/, followed by a coin flip. The 2nd and 3rd seed will play a set to 25 that is officiated by the 1st seed. The
winner will play the 1st seed in a set to 25, and the loser of the first match will officiate.
