PROCEDURES
IES Illumination Awards Procedures & Rules
1. 
Check for eligibility to enter the program. See Entry Rules on eligibility
2. 
Compile your entry. Each entry must contain the following:
a) 
Up to 10 images per entry
OPTIONAL: a short video clip (Maximum one minute duration with no
sound)

a) 
300 word count maximum. Narrative cued to each image
b) 
A nonrefundable $100.00 fee per submission

Images: Up to 10 (ten) digital images
will be accepted. Images must be in
JPEG format and at least 1024px wide
and 768px high

Video Submission: Video submission
must NOT contain narrative (spoken or
music)
Total video length allowed is a maximum
of one (1) minute. Video must be a mov,
m4v or mp4 format

Narrative: A three hundred (300) word
maximum narrative may be used to
present a project
It is important to address criteria from
the specified category award score

RULES:
1. 
IA Committee Members, IES Board of Directors, society employees may
not submit a project
2. 
Installation must be between January 2013 and January 2015
3. 
Projects may only be submitted one time
4. 
Project may be submitted in multiple categories
5. 
Submitters must inform owners and all others involved with the project of
the submission. Possibility that entry may be published in LD+A
