Although gaining valuable experience on a wide variety of projects she decided a new challenge was needed. Her love for the built environment meant she didn’t stray too far from the construction industry, and in 2009, she graduated from the University of New England with a planning degree. Sandy has since worked for Parsons Brinckerhoff, and for local government in Australia and England. She has been involved on a variety of projects including residential development and masterplanning; along with drafting policy documents, community engagement, and providing specialist crime prevention advice for new development. Sandy joined Iceni in November 2015 and is part of a team managing the property portfolios of several national clients where she has helped negotiate positive outcomes on various applications. Sandy takes pride in noticing the finer design details to ensure the best outcome for clients and her broad industry knowledge ensures she can communicate effectively across the whole project team. 5 defining projects 1: SCREWFIX A key member of the planning team providing consultancy services to assist in the national roll-out of branches.
