Trademark Usage
When a strategic brand name is used in the context of a communications document,
the first mention and all prominent occurrences get “™” or “ ” displayed after it
depending on the classification of that particular brand. The Ingersoll Rand name or
other strategic brand names only display a “ ” when used as strategic brands, do
not use a “ ” when the name is referring to the corporate or business enterprise.

Ingersoll Rand Signature Usage
Corporate Signature
The corporate signature is the Company's logo. It is the
simplest and most direct expression of the company’s
message, and therefore is applied to all corporate
communications materials, including annual reports,
corporate advertising, online applications, investor
communications, HR, and recruitment programs.
The Ingersoll Rand signature evokes the notion of
progress and drive through its forward movement and
uniform rhythm.
The alignment and shared momentum of the symbol
and logotype, along with consistent application of
“Ingersoll Rand red,” supports the notion of collaboration.
The subtle distinctiveness among letterforms speaks
to both authenticity and imagination.
Registered Trademark Symbol
Appears everywhere except on
signage applications.
Ingersoll Rand Symbol

and has been custom italicized to complement the
Ingersoll Rand symbol.

Also, please note that while the hyphen has been

reproducing any identity. Never create, recreate,
retype, modify or rebuild artwork.
