(8) Electronic submission is mandatory. Only the co-ordinator of a consortium needs to register
and to submit the pre-proposal. The electronic submission system will close at 23:59h C.E.T. on
March 6, 2017. Pre-proposals that do not meet the deadline will be rejected.

Provide information on the background and present state of the art in the research field, rationale and
own preliminary results.

Describe the working hypothesis, aims and research questions of the project.
Work plan and methodology
Summarize your work plan, techniques and methods, highlighting their originality and novelty.
Structure of the consortium
Illustrate the role of all project partners and the structure of the consortium, including the involvement of
external collaborators.

Describe the benefit from working together in this international collaboration.

Patient and Public Involvement (PPI)
Describe how patients, carers and the public have been and will be involved in the planning, design and
