TEAM TIME
EXPECTATIONS
Teaming is the time where we must focus on interventions and praising students; not time
for making copies, running errands, updating grade books, and making personal phone
calls.



TEAM EXPECTATIONS
 Be on time.
 Conduct hall sweeps to start hour. All teachers need
to sweep students from the halls, escort them back to
classes, and then meet back at the office conference
room for team time.
 Do not begin team time until all teachers are present.
Set team goals and create norms for team meetings.
Record notes from team meetings.
No more than one test or project due in a day.
SCHEDULE
Monday – Meet with Mrs. Fuemmeler; Student concerns, parent contacts, positive contacts
Tuesday – Student concerns, parent contacts, positive contacts
Friday – Student concerns, parent contacts, positive contacts;
Upcoming week’s academic plan, community service projects



INTERDISCIPLINARY UNITS
One interdisciplinary unit per quarter.
All four core teachers at the same time.
Unit plans must be turned in to and approved by Mrs. Briscoe or Mr. Land ahead
of time.



STUDENT/PARENT COMMUNCATION/INTERVENTION
Positive contact made through phone calls, letters home, Spartan Grams.
Set up conferences with parents and students
All parent/students contacts made during team time should be recorded under the
team log in SIS.
