1) Vector drawing of a original design for a station logo
The drawing of the logo will be used on many products both large and small and
should work in greyscale as well as in colour. The drawing should be produced
using vector tools and enhanced using effects and styles.

2) Vector-based net for a clear plastic case for a 3 CD set
Accurate plan drawn to scale, with dimensions, of the CD case. The plan should
indicate where the three CDs are to be positioned.

3) Paper-based inserts for the CD case to promote the station's retro style
The CD set will comprise one CD for each of the three decades (60s, 70s and
80s). The inserts should reflect these themes, include the logo and include
designs for the front, rear and internal faces of the case.

4) Representation showing the finished CD case with inserts in place
There are several approaches to creating this product. It could be
photographically produced by combining the inserts with a jewel CD case or
editing the insert designs into a suitable image. The object is to create a realistic
representation of the finished CD case.

5) Paper-based advertisements for the campaign combining text and image. A
set of three advertisements are required
• for publication in a music industry magazine

You should produce realistic representations of the three advertisements in use.
This is a further opportunity to demonstrate photo editing skills using bitmap
tools.

promote the station
The designs should feature the station logo and be consistent with the retro
theme. You should produce realistic representations of the clothing or
accessories in use for the website.

7) Timeline animation featuring the station's logo
The animation should be a series of frames created using animation software or
stop-frame techniques.

8) 30 second television advert to promote the launch party
The advertisement should be produced using video editing software and should
include video clips combined using the facilities of the software such as
overlays, transitions etc. The advert should incorporate an appropriate sound
track.

9) 20 second radio commercial to attract potential advertisers and shoud
feature both music and voice
This is to be used as an example of a typical commercial that could be played to
potential advertisers to encourage them to advertise on the station.

Home page featuring the station's logo, the animation and images of the
three advertisements in use
Events page including the television advert and images of party goers
wearing the promotional clothing

Music page including the representation of the CD case with inserts.
