RRP SB 256 The operator must NOT: -Switch between Normal Cycle and Half Cycle while an auto cycle is in progress. -Switch between Auto and Maintenance mode while an auto cycle is in progress. -Switch between Cold weather Mode and Normal modes while an auto cycle is in progress. What happens if the operator does this: When there is a mode change during an auto cycle, the cycle may stop. If at any time the operator switches back into the prior mode, the auto cycle will continue where it left off without requiring the operator to push the cycle start buttons. This continuing of auto cycle will happen immediately after operator switch modes which may be unexpected for the operator. If the operator is traveling the machine or has his hands or other body parts in dangerous areas of the workhead, bodily injury could result. MD3 Equipped Workhead Control Box MD3 Panel Figure 1 Workhead Control Box Changes made to program under Rev B01: -Switching between normal mode and cold weather mode is prevented during auto cycle. -Switching between normal cycle and half cycle has no effect until any cycle in progress is complete. -Switching between auto and maintenance has no effect until any cycle in progress is complete. -Added cycle in progress screen with cycle timer status to help inform operator of cycle in progress and at what point in time the cycle is in progress. 2 81921794 Racine Railroad Products 1955 Norwood Court Mount Pleasant WI, 53403 (262) 637-9681 SERVICE BULLETIN NO.
