Message from the Board
What a great kickoff to the 2016 season!! Weather has
been great, fairways are drying out and we are getting
the green color back into the landscape. We had
several exciting events announced this month and the
first MGA event of the year is in the books. The Devil’s
Triangle was held on Saturday, March 19th. We had 79
players come out and the weather was great. Thanks
to Jon and the golf staff who did a great job!! The MGA
also announced an exciting new event this year, a
season long 2-Man Match Play event, double
elimination. The event will take place thru the months
of April to October. The signup is on the website and
limited to the first 32 teams. Take a look at the rules
and grab your partner! With the Masters around the
corner, our next MGA event is coming on April 23rd/24th.
Go to the website and get signed up! This is one of our
best events of the year. Also, to the left, you will see
the 3 dates for the MGA Socials. Plan to attend!
See you on the tee.

Congratulations
The Saturday morning game is off to a great start in 2016. Come on out to play in the StableFord game.
We added an optional Gross skins game as well. Come on out to join in the Fun. Call the proshop by
Thursday afternoon to get on the tee sheet. The weather in February and green aeration meant that
there were not many opportunities to have a Saturday game.
On February 20th we had 23 players come out. Congratulations to Jim Morris who had a great round of
84 and a point total of +9. Ed Zamorski had an under par round of 71 and took 2nd place with a +7. Bob
Wilkinson finally made it back to the top 3 with a +5. Rounding out the remaining $$$ winners were
Jacob Baker (+4), Mark Goddard (+4), Sam Blair (+4), Chris Graves (+4) and Kyle Gray (+3).
For March 12th there were 27 players. Some great scores being made out there - Nick Brown 69, Shane
Jones 72, Paul Foster 73, and Jeff Loomis 73. Paul Foster was the big winner at +12. Followed by Jeff
Loomis (+9), Shane Jones (+7), Nick Brown (+6), Wilson Cole and Ron Stephens at +4.
Our most recent game was held this past Saturday, March 26th. We had 30 players come out and play, a
few more getting their match play game in. Kyle Gray had the round of the year so far, a 65. Kyle birdied
9 of the 18 holes (6 holes on the back 9)! I believe he also set a points record with 52 pts and clearly ran
away with first place at +13. Great job! Second place went to Don Robinson at +6 who won the tie
breaker over Jeff Darby who was also in at +6. Jack Quigley and Kevin Glorio were +5, Erwin Van
Deman and Ted Lucas at +4. And Ken Parsley rounded out the money winners at +3. There were 18
players in the Gross Skins and there were 7 skins in the group. Shane Jones on #2, Capalbo on #3, Nick
Brown on #9 and #10, Kyle Gray on holes #12 and #13 and Darryl Fulton on #14,
Hope to see everyone out next Saturday!
Devil’s Triangle
On March 19th, the MGA had their first event of the year, The Devil’s Triangle. Congratulations to
everyone who participated. We trust that everyone had an enjoyable time and thanks to all 79 members
that came out to challenge the course on the last day of winter. Full results can be reviewed on the
website.

MGA Player of the Year
It was announced that a new format was being rolled out to determine the 2016 MGA Player of the Year.
The Devil’s Triangle was the first POY event. The MGA Masters is coming in April and will be our next
POY event. Get to the website and sign up!! Complete Player of the Year standings can be found on the
MGA website. Take not of all the events on the first page of this newsletter and circle all the events on
your calendar and make every effort to come out. Should be an exciting year!
Announcing the 2016 MGA 2-Man Match Play event
This year the MGA board has elected to not carry the MGA Thursday (Or Wednesday) night league for
2016. But don’t fret. This year we will have a season long event for an MGA Two-Man Match play event.
This event will be a MGA Player of the Year event. The event cost will be $30 per team member and will
be a double elimination event; so your team will need to lose 2 matches before you are eliminated. The
event is limited to the first 32 teams and sign-ups will be available on the Bridgemill MGA website. The
deadline to find a partner and get signed up will be April 28th. We are planning to have a “big bang”
start to the event on Saturday April 30th. We would like as many matches as possible to get kicked off
on that day if possible. If you are unable to coordinate a match that day, don’t worry, the deadline for first
round matches will be May 13th. Please try to get your $30 (per person) to Lincoln Lahmann asap. More
details will be coming in an email communication and there will be flyers posted in the proshop. This
should be an exciting event planned from April to September. This broad timeframe should be great in
accommodating all members schedules so get signed up and let’s do this!!
